Alfa Romeo 156 WTCC
The 156 was the last Alfa Romeo officially used by the house in major sporting competitions, in which it was able to distinguish itself with many victories. From 2000 to 2004 it won the European Touring Car Championship four times, first with Fabrizio Giovanardi and then with Gabriele Tarquini.
In 2005 the European championship becomes the world championship we know today the WTCC. Despite the years of the project in the first edition the 156 manages to fight on equal terms with the younger opponents until the end of the championship where he conquers an extraordinary second position.
